Branding and Website Design for a Subscription-Based Creative Agency

Form Studio is a reimagined creative agency brand designed to better connect with small- to mid-sized businesses through clarity, warmth, and structure. I led the branding, UX research, wireframing, and high-fidelity website design, redefining both the studio’s identity and its digital presence. The goal was to create a cohesive system where brand, business model, and user experience work together to communicate trust, accessibility, and professionalism.

Aligning Brand Voice with Business Model

A key challenge was ensuring the website accurately reflected both the personality of the brand and the mechanics of a subscription-based agency model. The platform needed to explain services, pricing, and onboarding clearly without overwhelming users or feeling transactional. Balancing expressive branding elements—such as illustrations and bold colors—against functional UX requirements like pricing comparison, onboarding clarity, and trust-building was a constant design tension.

Structured Hierarchy and Purpose-Driven Design

To address this, I designed the website around clear user journeys, guiding visitors from brand discovery to plan selection and onboarding. Strong visual hierarchy, modular sections, and consistent call-to-actions helped surface key information at the right moments. Wireframes were used to validate layout and flow before progressing to a high-fidelity prototype that carried over the brand’s typography, color palette, and illustration system, ensuring consistency across marketing, pricing, and onboarding screens.

Brand and UX Are Inseparable

This project reinforced that branding does not stop at visuals—it directly shapes usability, trust, and conversion. I learned how critical it is to align brand tone, business strategy, and UX decisions, especially for service-based and subscription products. Most importantly, the project demonstrated how a strong brand system can act as a design constraint that improves clarity rather than limiting creativity.
